Bad news for Romanian gymnastics fans.  2008 Olympic floor champion Santra Izbasa has injured her knee and my not be able to compete in London. No official confirmation yet from the Romanian Gymnastics Federation.

Ana Porgras retires
Romanian star Ana Porgras, one of the few bright lights of the country in recent years, has decided to retire due to repeated injuries, according to Adrian Stoica, president of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation. Romania’s women’s tem placed fourth at the 2011 World Championships; this retirement will make it even harder for them to contend for a medal next year.
